PURE (Short Film/Fashion Film)

Screen Shot 2015-06-27 at 23.24.03

So THIS ladies and gentlemen, is the short film that goes hand in hand with the portfolio shot I took of Katelyn the other day! Im so happy with how this film turned out, Katelyn loves it too. I wanted to make something that wasn’t really dark and mysterious, or overly weird like a lot of short films can be, my theme behind the video was finding yourself, accepting yourself for who you are and embracing it. This is why we went into the forrest for this shoot, it was a beautiful, fresh day and I think being out in nature, breathing in fresh air just feels so good and helps you feel free and relaxed (real time flower child at heart) so yeah, I hop you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed filming it! Let me know what you think of it, like comment and subscribe (you know the drill)

MUCH LOVE!

Portfolio Shoot with Katelyn

A few days ago I did a location shoot and film with my friend and aspiring model Katelyn. She was going to paris to go round agencies so we updated her portfolio and I thought i would make a short film at the same time! (Post pending) The day was really fun, the weather was beautiful and the images came out really nice. We shot in a pretty woodland local to where we both live, luckily we didn’t see many people so ballsy Katelyn could change outfits easily in the trees (props to you girl) and there wasn’t much awkward waiting around for people to get out of the shot which is always fun! I wish Katelyn all the luck in the world in Paris, she deserves it! Here are a few of my favourites from the day:

What Demi Did: Family Trip and Birthday Bouncing!

Screen Shot 2015-06-15 at 08.25.32

So last weekend I had a lot on, and most of my weekend was going to be really fun so I thought I would take my camera and make a little film so you guys could come along too! I has such a good weekend, hope you like the film!

Whipsnade Zoo: I absolutely love going to the zoo, any zoo (as long as there’s elephants because they’re ma fave!) As you can tell from the video, I spent a lot of my day in the butterfly house because it was just incredible to experience. It was like being in the middle of a tropical rainforest… If you ever get the chance to go to a butterfly house… GO! I am now inspired to have my own butterfly house when I’m rich, living in a big beautiful house (I can dream). The whole zoo was huge and was a really clean, friendly, fun environment. Perfect to take kids, me and my dad took my little sister and little step brother and they had the best time! The views from some of the cafe’s are stunning too, so its really worth a visit!

Gravity Force: This place was SO COOL.. If you love trampolining or just love fun sporty days out then this is the place for you. Its a huge trampoline park, the whole floor and walls are trampolines and you just bounce everywhere! There’s also slam dunk strips, dodge ball and a foam pit(they’re really funny to get out of) so there is something for everyone! We went for Beth’s birthday (shoutout to you Beth) and we had the best time!

Minimal Interior Dreaming

Interior

I am ever so slightly OBSESSED with minimal beautiful interiors… and Pinterest has so many stunning images lately so I thought I would put together a little montage of my ideal home interior. One day I will live in a house that looks like this, well thats the dream anyway! Im loving all white everything, with bold black trims, green pot plants and a huge fluffy throw. Im also loving this really cool window on the bottom right?!

I love Pinterest, I get most of my inspiration from there. Whether I have a shoot or filming  coming up, a room to decorate, healthy food ideas or even just wanting a new twist on my go to outfits… Pinterest is the place to go.

Soon I will be posting my wish lists and inspiration for my new uni room in september so keep a look out for those too!

Product Review: Frank Body Scrub

FullSizeRender

This product was a birthday present from my beautiful friend and fellow blogger Megan, check out her blog here! Let me tell you, this product is AMAZING! It is perfect for use all over your body and leaves your skin feeling so soft and refreshed. If you’re a coffee lover like me then you will absolutely love the smell of this scrub because ground coffee is the main ingredient in this one! Here is a break down of the simple natural ingredients:

Roasted and Ground Robusta Coffee Blend – this scrubs away any dry, flakey skin and targets any imperfections on your face and body

Brown Sugar and Sea Salt – this ingredient is perfect for cleansing and clarifying your skin

Cold-Pressed Almond Oil – this will smooth and moisturise your skin for that perfect silky finish after your bath or shower

Frank Body is an Australian brand and all of their products are made in Australia and vegan friendly for all you vegan babes out there! It smells INCREDIBLE, it literally smells like your scrubbing fresh ground coffee all over your body (essentially that is what you’re doing but hey!). I really recommend tho product for anybody who is looking for a new go to body scrub, with all natural ingredients and an amazing smell with beautiful results, you can’t go wrong!

The coffee scrub is from the ‘Tough’ body range, there is also ‘Gentle’, ‘Clean’ and ‘Smooth’ and all products look amazing and I would love to try them all.

They don’t just do coffee scrubs in the Tough range, they also have a variety of other products, (I’ll link everything below for you to check out) like coconut, cacao,  and peppermint scrubs(sounds amazing!)

Check out their website here and get buying! These products also make lovely gifts for friends and family as well as a little pamper present to yourself… Because we all need some TLC every now and again right?!

Another key wardrobe piece I will be needing for Italy is a playsuit (or two.. or three!). Playsuits and dungarees are perfect for holidays because they can be thrown on over a bikini for days around the pool, dressed up with some heels for dinner or dressed down with some comfy trainers for a long day of exploring. Layering up a playsuit with a kimono or cardigan can still look beautiful on a cooler evening too!
