I have some very exciting news! As part of my current university project (my final one may I add *gulp*) I had the opportunity to work with a very talented little lady on her new music video! AMBR, or Megan as she’s also known, is an awesome singer/song writer and we were put in contact some time last year. The opportunity came around because Im making a few films as part of my project. As I’m going into film direction after uni, I thought it would be the perfect time to get more films in my portfolio and work with real people across different creatives disciplines. The whole team were amazing on the day of the shoot… It was amazing to work with such dedicated, talented and passionate people! Below is the final video, it would mean the world to me and the rest of the team of you watched and shared the video with everyone you know! Share the love!
Hey guys! Sorry I havent posted/uploaded in a while, Ive been away in sunny Greece! Head over to my youtube channel to see my Mytilini travel diary and follow me around such a beautiful island!
Hey guys and gals! I just wanted to share with you all my most recent youtube video… My lovely friend (and fellow youtuber/blogger) Becky Vance aka. Project Becks and I had a massive filming day for both our channels recently. One of the videos we filmed was the “Not My Arms Makeup Challenge” and it was so much fun to do. The idea behind it is that my arms are kept behind my back, and becky pops her arms through the t-shirt I’m wearing and has to act as my arms while she does my makeup for a night out. Now, the whole video is a complete joke and we laughed so much so please remember that I’m not really that sarcastic and weird in real life haha (promise…) I nearly went blind a few times and I’m still amazed that I don’t have a black eye?! I would love it if you could head over and have a watch and check out Becky’s platforms while you’re there… The links all in the down bar on the video! If you find the video from this page, comment something involving the words “lights of luna” so i know where my little blog family are!!
So I moved into my new uni house on September 1st, and this is when I met my lovely housemate and new main gal Beth. Beth is a super talented fashion blogger/model/fashion marketing student and we’ve worked together a lot on her blog and look books, so I thought I’d share a few bits we’ve done so far.
We’ve made a few look books;
We’ve also done some photography on her blog for various outfit posts which you’ll be able to see of you click the link below!
We also have a lot planned for the near future. There will be a lot more look books and photography for beth’s blog but she will also be modelling for a short film I have in the works at the moment so stay tuned for that!
So THIS ladies and gentlemen, is the short film that goes hand in hand with the portfolio shot I took of Katelyn the other day! Im so happy with how this film turned out, Katelyn loves it too. I wanted to make something that wasn’t really dark and mysterious, or overly weird like a lot of short films can be, my theme behind the video was finding yourself, accepting yourself for who you are and embracing it. This is why we went into the forrest for this shoot, it was a beautiful, fresh day and I think being out in nature, breathing in fresh air just feels so good and helps you feel free and relaxed (real time flower child at heart) so yeah, I hop you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed filming it! Let me know what you think of it, like comment and subscribe (you know the drill)
So last weekend I had a lot on, and most of my weekend was going to be really fun so I thought I would take my camera and make a little film so you guys could come along too! I has such a good weekend, hope you like the film!
Whipsnade Zoo: I absolutely love going to the zoo, any zoo (as long as there’s elephants because they’re ma fave!) As you can tell from the video, I spent a lot of my day in the butterfly house because it was just incredible to experience. It was like being in the middle of a tropical rainforest… If you ever get the chance to go to a butterfly house… GO! I am now inspired to have my own butterfly house when I’m rich, living in a big beautiful house (I can dream). The whole zoo was huge and was a really clean, friendly, fun environment. Perfect to take kids, me and my dad took my little sister and little step brother and they had the best time! The views from some of the cafe’s are stunning too, so its really worth a visit!
Gravity Force: This place was SO COOL.. If you love trampolining or just love fun sporty days out then this is the place for you. Its a huge trampoline park, the whole floor and walls are trampolines and you just bounce everywhere! There’s also slam dunk strips, dodge ball and a foam pit(they’re really funny to get out of) so there is something for everyone! We went for Beth’s birthday (shoutout to you Beth) and we had the best time!
This is a look book I filmed for my beautiful, talented friend and fellow YouTuber Louise, please check out her YouTube channel Louise Grace Ansell, we had so much fun filming and there will be more in the future I’m sure!
This fashion film was a collaboration project with my flatmate who is a fashion design student. She designed and made the shirt featured in the film and is crazy talented! For this film we hit the streets of London on a rainy day, please click the link to watch, hope you enjoy! Please thumbs up and subscribe for more!
